Dom,

Seeing as little Emm is veggie, thats the veggie menu like? Any ideas?

I think we're free that day so we may pop along. If the menu isn't suitable we can always bring the hamper (and a box for the Doritos - Brunters was a harsh lesson in leaving unattended crisp bags in the boot)

Cheers,

GT

Matt - maybe we can do a 'Posh Nosh and Pie' at Le Manoir when Ted goes public

GT - dunno what food is like. I imagine they cater for veggies tho'. Bring some Doritos and celery sticks just in case.

As a newish member of the Wycombe area I shall endeavour to make it along ....

Only problem being long drinking day at Twickenham for England v France and a night out afterwards .... celebrating the undoubted victory...

The road is only narrow in places and still wide enough for the Ultima. The pub is two minutes from the Thames and ideal for dog walking. If the weather is nice it is also good for having a pie on the Thames.

Will try and make it if I am allowed, but unfortunately it is my 1st wedding anniversary on that day, so I doubt it (plus daughter's B'day 2 days B4).

Would love to come down for a quick pint of Coke...

I'll pop along as well in the mini - not too far from me.

Over-rated and over-inflated opinion of their own worth. Remains the only place my wife and I have walked out of, after they ruined our wedding anniversary for us.

Ton - details of pub are at beginning of this thread, as previously pointed out... and many different cars will be in attendance, not just TVRs.

Sheepy - sorry to hear about the poor experience at LM. It is very expensive and a little pretentious, but I had a good meal there a while back - my Mum (who ordered the same as me) didn't have quite as good a meal, which goes to show that consistency and quality don't necessarily go together.

Would you like me to bring No6?

Due to an unfortunate incident involving a 160mph straight, a left handed kink, a crest, a four wheel lock-up and a tyre wall, No 6 will be staying in and washing its hair. Well having its bodywork substantially rebuilt anyway....

Sorry to hear that Andy. I will ask my contacts at the Badger Protection Front to go easy on you.

Glad you are OK.

Andy - terrible news

Hope it's back soon, and being taught a lesson on "not" letting go.

Thanks chaps.

Crashed it at 9.30am and we got the car rebuilt by 1.15pm, in time for the two races. I missed qualifying so started from the back.

The car handled like a sherry trifle in the Sprint race - so finished 15th out of 19. The Feature Race was much better and I got a more satisfying 9th. Which was nice

It's amazing what can be done with 300 yards of gaffer tape, a couple of hundred rivets, some aluminium off cuts and some fibreglass when you're in a hurry

No6 will be back to its former glory soon...

...and the Combe races can be seen on Sky Sports next week
