Do those who have been before know if the car park has lighting, ie is it worth me bringing my camera for the occasion?

A tiny amount, not enough to take any photos.
(unless you're a big flasher)

Morning All,

Well, I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who turned up, despite the little bit of rain! With over twenty turning out on a damp Monday evening, this was easily the best Leighton Meet n Beer

No prizes for guessing who wins an award for travelling the furthest, but it was worth it just for the noise made by the Griff (as well as the stories from CarZee's party).

Five Bells at Stanbridge will probably get the benefit of our company next time, because everyone keeps telling me it's got a huge car park. Keep an eye out in the events section in the first or second week of October when I'll suggest some dates.

Thanks Sheepy!
I really enjoyed the evening, brilliant turn out, and everyone was very friendly, was also great to put faces to the names on here. Cars were fantastic too, was quite taken by Dan's Exige, as I'd not seen one before (sheltered life) and thanks to Gazboy for the ride in his MR2!

Good to meet everyone I met, cracking turnout too, just a shame I couldn't stay longer, but will make an evening of it next time, particularly if at the five bells.

to those on the other table who I didn't say hi to!

Hah, we didn't want to talk to you anyway!

What happened to bringing the kid? With five or six TVRs, an Exige, a Ferrari and a grey XJS, he'd have been in heaven with the noise (well most of us were!). Dunno what the pub staff thought, but one of them did thank us for coming!!

If I'd have been able to get there a little earlier I would have bought him, but was running late unfortunately... Will go for it next time, just requires better planning on my part!

A long time ago, but you get the idea - start em young...!

Yeah, great night guys, like tonyrec says, it's a shame I (we) didn't get to talk to everybody, but what a good turnout of people and cars , the Griff sounded fantastic, and a big thanks to Dan and his Exige for letting me struggle to keep up, that's such a quick car, in a straight line and through the bends, can't wait for the next one........

Only one of my pics came out, the rest managed to get the reflections off the signs on the roundabout from the flash , oh well it will please rviant

edited to get different link, can you see it now?

I'd definitely be up for a lunchtime meet locally, how about another MK meet, or a similar sort of venue?

That would be better. Sorry I couldn't make this one, I did think that getting out of work and home before 22:00 on a Monday was a bit optimistic.

Sounded like a good crack though

Big thanks to Sheepy for organising it

Great turnout ..noodles had some excitement with a car thief.

I'm up for a Sunday lunch time meet too..would have loved to have seen rviant's Ferrarri in daylight (next time I'll be bold enough to ask to sit in it )...and all the others of course ...though don't make it too far away as I don't finish my rowing lessons till 11.30am.

could be held at the Priory Marina, Bedford - we can even see some windsurfers, canal boats etc.
