We've just struck a deal with the Microlite guys at the venue.
Basically, you'll be able to book either a 15, 30, 45 & 60 minute accompanied flight, with the take off & landing strip about 200 yards from the PF enclosure.
We'll publish a booking system for all PF attendees a litle closer to the event launch.
Don't forget your video & stills cameras folks!

Think perhaps you had better check the passenger weight restriction before you get everyone excited.

Think a few of the more pie-orientated PHers might find their excess pie-baggage a hinderance to acheiving take off...

Could be wrong though, and it's a great idea.

Cheers, Phil

I used to fly out of Long Marston and if the instructors are still the same (main guy was Steve) I suggest everyone lay of any food or drink until after they fly!

I used to do some of the "flight experience" trips until I got fed up with listening to people throw up into MY intercommed helmets

No chance for me then - I put on over half a stone at Xmas and even before that I would have been too heavy

Is the weight restriction due to the length of the strip? I know for a fact that you can get two fat blokes up in a microlight, but we were taking off from RAF Wyton
