Where is the new venue?

The previous VW meets were good so I’d say use the one with the dodgy barriers, just make sure someone has and adjustable spanner

Aha!! I have two wheels now and would easily be able to slip in there without any barrier hassle. I should be there if it doesnt rain.

However, in a VW thread from yonks ago, I suggested a meet/picnic at the Runymede Pleasure Grounds (just down the road from VW and two mins from J13 of the M25) on the A308 between Staines and Old Windsor. Ticket parking and one can come and go as u please, + ice cream van, bouncy castle, takeaway etc......Space for over 300 cars.

Also boat trips available on the 'Lucy Fisher', fake stern wheeler made for the Tarzan film some years ago.

Picnic in October?

Would probably be best to have the nice warm pub to sit in

Maybe we could hold this at the old venue and discuss other places for future meets?

IIRC the old venue's car park price has gone up to £4.

Will need somewhere where we can buy food and drink to keep other half’s happy, does the other venue?

Personally don’t mind paying £4 as normally stay a while plus the area is very nice, what do others think?

Old venue it is, I don't have a problem with paying the £4, it's a cracking day out.
