Karting in Leicestershire
Discussion
put me down as a possible, i've been meaning to go to one of these all year but never got my arse in gear!!!
if i can't find 2-3 mates will there be any provision for turning up on the day with cash in my fist and joining another team!?!
PS, i'm in a real karting mood at the mo, as i'm currently staring at the print out showing my 1:13.498 at the 1300m Daytona MK course...

Might be in the same boat mate, wont know till next week if a)i have any mates! or b)if i can afford it!
I think Patrick said there are a few without teams so it should work out.
I'll be last to get picked though........i'm the one with the beer belly that slows me down!!
like me, that beer belly helps you gain speed through the corners!!! well, thats what i tell the mates anyhow!!!*
let me get back to you on a definate, if not, team beerbelly it is!!!
*looking at my Daytona Printout i was 0.268 of a second slower than my mate Rosey... the reason i have about 4.5 stone more weight to carry around so he had me down the straights... but he complained of "loosing" the kart through the fast bends as there simply wasn't enough of him sticking it to the ground!!!
Don't really want to get all technical but doing the maths:-
m v2/r = mu * m * g (cornering force = friction stopping slipping)
It doesn't make a difference how heavy you are as to your ideal cornering speed (the m's cancel). Driving ability however does have something to do with it!!! Those heavily bellied amungst us just have to blame the lack of acceleration out of the corners
Anyway - being crap out of the way - Patrick - Cheque on its way for one only I'm afraid.
