Might not be going fast in tunnels, but if you think I'm keeping to 3000rpm...

Please bear in mind though that if I am able to join the convoy, I can't 'blat' around, as I'm running in my new engine at the moment and I'm limited to 3000 revs and 60 MPH..... So if anyone goes above that and looses me, I'll be very and won't be best pleased as I won't have a clue where I am!

Mark

Don't worry TVR-Nutter, my license just got dirtier so I'm driving Miss Daisy too

Podie, you're either drunk or forgetful. Big T first pointed that out on p1 of this thread, and he's promised us the full story on Sunday.

Meeting places

If anyone wants to meet me at J28 on the M25, to leave at 10:00 SHARP, then let me know.

I'll see you at this one Podie - that's the little chef car park yes?

That's the one chap!!!

BE CAREFUL... it has a steep entrance. Best bet is to go down by the petrol station... you'll hear me anyway!

Meeting Chinny and (hopefully) TVR-NUT as well... then heading off to J26 to meet Griffy.... and then onto Big T...

I won't be up in time for the 10.00 run into East London as I am out at a party tonight.

I may go directly to the meet for 12.00

Last call for the Mid-Essex blat to Kent!!!

MEETING TIMES / LOCATIONS

10:00 - M25 J28 (A12 Jn), Little Chef *
10:30 - M25 J26, Marriott Hotel
11:00 - O'Neills pub, by the Green Man roundabout.

* = be careful, there's a steep entrance, so probably best to park down the side of the petrol station.

I've been trying to upload piccys since quarter to five, but Fotango is bu99ering me about at the moment.

As soon as it uploads I'll post them.

It was a great blast through the back roads to Farningham, then through the Dartford Tunnel

Nice looking car that one...

Well met Chinny at Brentwood... blatted off towards J26... found another Chim waving at me so off we went... met Griffy at J26 and onto the pub by the Green Man roundabout... met up with Seasider.

No Big T (work ) V8 Archie or anyone else... so headed off towards the blackwell tunnel.

Bloody london gave up after 15 minutes of sitting in traffic and blatted down the A13... off to Kent via the bridge... with Griffy giving us a lovely powerslide just of the M25...!

Nice meet... reasonable turnout... good grub went for a pootle round the lanes.. some plonker in a rep-mobile gave it large "av you seen the tailback you've caused?!?" ... "er... that'll be the traffic lights then, that are on red". Idiot

Went off, with all the Kent crowd to play in the tunnel... got through the tolls... gave it some serious pie through the tunnel with Griffy and V8 Archie in tow.. great noise...

Nice day, pretty good weather, and what Sunday's are made for...

Aye... tis the "old girl"... but what's a "Chimera" - but you are correct, Mica Red with Flint hide.

Yep, known as the S4 bonnet AFAIK. "S3 bonnet" has the driving lamps but the forward facing hump.

SHUSH!

Nice to finally meet you mate... was going to wander off for a chat / nob gag routine, but you'd obviously decided not to risk it, and legged it!

Great number plate though...

Good to see you today, the run home was great.
Sevenoaks to Bromley via the Dartford Tunnel, then straight back over the bridge. I bet not many people use that route. £2.00 well spent!

See you all next weekend on your home turf.
