Anyone needing help to admire my car needs their head examining . I've just washed it and givene it my first polish, and it looks the bees knees and the dogs bs .

And the (TVR Bodyshop) touch-up stick I got works wonderfully too.

Oh and I found that I can turn on the alarm from my 2nd floor flat.

Sorry for blowing my own trumpet, but it just looked so cool outside the flat today . Just as I started it up to move it back to the garage a chap wandered passed and gave me a , which I returned while squeezing the throttle a couple of times.

There's only one car you can have fun in at 0 mph, and it's a TVR

Big T, you're at the front as you should know the way by now then we all get to listen to you

Now that'll put a smile on her face & mine!!! I'll make sure she's nicely warmed up first so roaring like hell, that's what I love bout her, she can sound like going supersonic even at 50

That's not fair! Griffy can't be a day over...

How about doing away with the rather effiminate Mid Essex Ted(dy) and getting a Mid Essex Dobermann (or Drum4it's Staffordshire) ?

The Staffordshire region may not approve - but Eadie said she is happy to oblige!

I've read all your posts regarding my comments and I fully take on board what your saying. I thought I'd let you know what I felt as I'm sure there must be other TVR drivers who want to attend but dont attend due to the same sorts of reasons. It's hard to actually get your point across online, people seem to misinterpret things you say and people can't hear the way you mean to say them. I wasn't having a dig at anybody, I think TVR meets are a brilliant idea and thats why I attended in the first place. Mowerman, I think I am fully entitled to state my views wherever I like and I'm glad I did because the replies I received have been very contructive and have justified things from the other side of the fence so to speak. Again, I apologise if anyone thinks I was taking the p*ss, I wasn't. And I would be attending 2morrow if I hadn't just booked 2 weeks in the Maldives and now I need to try and find some shorts at lakeside! Hope you all have fun and i'll see you next month.

I've enlisted another TVR virgin at work today - he's after an S2/3 and I'm bringing him along on Sunday.
Any chance he can have a lift with you to the Forresters?

I told him to bring along ear plugs and a spare pair of pants, just in case....

No problem... happy to help with "recruitment"

Sorry guys - will not make it today. Got back from Peninsular last night - in a Pug 206

Hopefully will have S back on Wednesday - will wait for Peninsula to redeem themselves before posting full story - see you all next month.

Thanks Podie, I was not being quite as stupid as I looked as I had recieved an email that said 'We plan to leave there at 12.00.' However there was no reference as to where 'there' was. As it turned out it was The Hilton, Dartford.

So in in all a good blast. Especially 10 TVRs blatting through the dartford Tunnel at full tilt.

Thanks everyone, was an impressive turnout of 70+ cars.

Podie, thanks for your mail, was hoping to come as I thoroughly enjoyed the convoy last time, but I had to wait in for an electrician...... who didn't turn up! Hope you all enjoyed it.
