Last month it was a treasure hunt, this month it's some sort of advanced convoy/parking challenge - what's it going to be next month??? Maybe we'll all have to drive there on two wheels, or park up using hand brake turns Russ Swift style!

Grahame.....I have no objection to your friend coming, but, whereas I would usually put his car at the top of the drive on show, I have a guest Club coming to the meet this month, so as long as he doesn't mind parking at the bottom of the drive I don't mind him coming to join us.

Al...I didn't know the weekend was an open invitation...sorry...
However...it was a good laugh and may be good for a Mid Essex weekend away next year...a kind of Mini Mania.....but....be warned...you have to dance with Santa, elves, pixies and fairies!!!!

Nigel - if we convoy in model order from newest to oldest, I will be at the back because my Tasmin was built in 1980. Therefore Podie will be in front of me and I WILL GET FLAMED/MELTED! NOT a good idea!

Unfortunately I can't make it an open one, especially as I have a guest club attending on Sunday.

But, I note from your profile that you have a Ferrari and would love to have the Ferrari club come to visit.

The White Hart is a pub in Chelmsford. Head down the A12 towards Colchester and come off at the Boreham turnoff (J19 IIRC). Follow the slip road to the left, and take the 2nd exit off the roundabout. Follow the road into the 40mph zone... and the White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards up...!

If you get to the roundabout, you've gone too far!
