Thanks dizee for organising this, and to the car park owners for letting this happen. Some really nice cars there and nice to meet and chat with fellow pistoneaders!

thanks for arranging this and as others have said a very nice selection of machinery.
one the way i was passed by the NSX and it made a lovely sound
Agreed. Was chatting to the owner before I left. It had a lovely exhaust on it.

Cheers guys! and I was trying to keep the noise down!

Nice chatting to you jazzybee, hope you had a nice drive back!

Thanks for sorting this.

I popped down for an hour at 10 and there some lovely motors there. May have been dragging the standard down with my dirty 306 gti6 mind!

Favourite car for me was the frankly silly GMC truck on raised suspension. Couldn't stop myself from smiling everytime I went near it. Which one of us is the crazy owner?!

And then saw an old girl in a Rav 4 almost reverse straight over an Atom! Thankfully the owner (I think) was there to stop her.

Should have said hello to some of you, next time I will.

Thanks again to all concerned.

A good morning indeed.
The idea of reserving the carpark spaces at the start of this thread seemed a waste though. There were loads of spaces, and it served to discourage some from entering. Some nice cars parked in the laybys and I'm sure a few folk were put off from coming altogether.
Next year, I vote for first come first served. Cheers.

Dizeee, nice to have met you, albeit briefly. Thank you for the trouble taken.

Glad you thought the car was as shiny as expected! I had a couple of kids ask me if it was a Ferrari. Regretably (well, in a manner of speaking only!), I had to say, "sorry kids, its "only" a shiny red Porsche."

smile

Was a nice meet. Great to see everyone there today especially Nicky, but with the exception of Andrew. Could have sworn I saw him climb into the tarmac and drive off.

Just want to say thanks to you Dizee. We spoke briefly.

I also vote for first come, first served next time.

Also, shame on those that said they would come but did not both.

Mum can wait till the afternoon, so can the wife.

It's not a hair cut, 200mph tears it out at the root.
