How sorry I am to have missed you all yesterday, but me and FireBlade02 had just come back from 2 weeks in Canada and were in no condition to join the PH Gang (much less drive ) We do look forward to seeing many of you at BT&P in less than 2 weeks! Hopefully I will have recovered from miserable jet lag by then

Clubsport,

Give me a shout for whatever PH event you're going to next and i'll probably see you there.
Obviously i'll be expecting a ride in the RS.

I miss my 993C4S desperately, but the Chim is a very enjoyable "alternative". Cheap too.

Hopefully i can buy another 993 in the not-too-distant future without having to sell the Chim. They're both great cars but for totally different reasons.

Take care.

VS

Hi guys,

This was my first PH meet, and I must say that I enjoyed it (only 5 mins from home too which is good). Anyway, here are some pics on my site:

It was that attention to detail and the effort put in to get things perfect that struck me the most.
Loved the front plate too, very James Bond

Had a great time with my stepson looking at all the different marques...cheers for that.
Funniest thing i saw;
A very low Porsche pull up the barrier and pay to get in...when he could have driven straight under.

Funniest thing i heard;
1st man; How far is the burger van
2nd man; o'bout 400yards away
1st man; can you drive to it!!

Loved the Diablo

Ha ha! It was him too and I was hoping we could drive to it!
400 yards turned out more like 400 miles!

You name it!!

I've suggested it before, and discussd it at last VW, but how about a great summer picnic (bring yer own butties Mungo -then you won't have to walk!!) at the Runymede leasure grounds on the A308 between Runymede Hotel, Egham (J13, M25)and Old Windsor?

Ticket parking on level grass, no restriction on arriving and leaving, space for 350 cars, nearby takeaway, river trips, paddling pool, bouncy castle and mini-fairground, caff 1 mile up the road, Runymede Hotel Restaurant 1m down river, walks (that word again...)to the Magna Carta and Kennedy Memorial or up the hill to the Air Force Memorial (views of five counties on a good day.) No bbq's or fires though....

Bonus is I can roll the car from my house, engine or no engine

-I'll do a separate thread.
