And thank you Mr. for not giving me a ticket for getting a little carried away while driving through the tunnels!

Great day everyone and superb photos. It was good to meet a few fellow PHers. Bit of a dodgy start to the run though but what a lot of fantastic cars. Maybe a longer run next time would be good. Cheers.

Was that the plod who met u at the roundabout just after alderley edge what happened.?

Yes it was. He followed us for at least 5 or 6 miles more.

My car started coughing a bit and decided it needed a rest on a bad bit of road.

Because plod was following, he stopped right behind me and applied the blue lights. I jumped out to explain the situation and asked for 3 or 4 minutes to get the lump going again.

He was on the verge of calling a recovery team quickly due to the the bad location of my short stop but gave me a chance to get it going again.

After a few attempts, it fired up again and he gave me the thumbs up.

All credit to him, I think he was more enthusiastic about seeing such an array of well presented Tiv's than he was prepared to let on!

Nice to meet you all yesterday.

The tunnel blast was fun, the yellow wedge (Nick?) behind me sounded excellent

My little boy (John) managed to fall asleep on the way home, I must need a louder exhaust pipe.

So you were just trying to keep him awake going through the tunnel?

Richard, after all the e-mail contact I'm sorry I never got to speak to you. Sometimes difficult to take in who is who when everyone is meeting for the first time!

Will speak again no doubt!

We will have a chat at the next meet, or if you fancy it why not join us at a West Lancs TVRCC meet sometime?
