Concorde is still on west apron having bits removed, no info on arrival at viewing park.

And I will come if not working.

But Mac Donalds?

Only a provisional destination. As mentioned, if anyone comes up with an alternative, please put it forward.

Are you bringing kids , or are you just a junk food junkie ?

But seriously , me and Mrs H will take cruise tomorrow , see if we can find some decent hostelries with suitable car parks and scammera free roads .

Have found two reasonable pubs just outside Marston on the A34 ( Before Congleton when heading from the the runway tunnels ) , both have reasonable car parks , and serve food for those that wish to partake .

The Wagon and Horses ( Robinsons) and Davenport Arms (Marstons) .

Wow, thats bizzarre!

I had just delivered some furniture in the south of Spain for a mate.

I was in a hired truck. Got to Santander 3 hours before the Val de Loire set sail. Parked up in lane 2 and got out to walk into Santander for some ciggies.

I saw a lovely black Tuscan (in lane 7?). I was going to come over and have a chat to see if you were a 'Pistonheader' but thought you'd think I was off my head if you did'nt know what I was talking about!

I clocked your reg in Santander and when I looked at your profile on here, I thought - that looks like..........

Wish I'd gone over to you for a chat now!

That's a shame but I'll see you on the 16th. (also my birthday). Did you talk to the Scooby boys on the boat?

No but saw them getting on the boat. To be honest I was just glad to get in the bar and have a load of beer. Slept from 1am through to about 2pm the following day.

Good trip if a little rocky on the way out of Spain!

Whats wrong with McDonalds?

Look, we'll scrap the McD's idea - ok!

Neil has come up with a good suggestion (above).

There is also an easytrack track day on at Oulton Park on the 16th. Could go there for a mooch? Only 25/30 minutes from airport.

?

Laz, you obviously haven't read the McJob thread on General Gassing. Neil's idea sounds ok but which one? I haven't been in either. Anyone else know?

I can see the point in going to McD's - I'd like to see the faces when we join the queue behind the Blot-on (sorry bolt-on) boys/girls in the drive-thru.

Precisely my original thought. I suppose we can have a majority vote on the day.

This will be great if we get a good turnout!

Damn ! Might not be able to make it now ! The missus has just reminded me that we have some friends coming over from York on Sunday. Unless I can persuade them to come early and me and the mate come over. Leave the girls at home !! Not sure how this will go down however. Damn ..

Lets get real. If you want to impress kids go to a school of that's your thing. It is going to be a cold November day and a good pub is going to be the only place where we can get a good meal and meet other PHs without freezing. Or is this just going to be another TVRCC photo opportunity run. Is this for sports car enthusiasts or a kids and plastic food appriciation society?
