I missed the karting today, and the Mansfield booze-up tonight too, so can I come to this instead? I havent got a TVR, but I love the sound of them, would love to hear some in a tunnel.

Just got back , don't often see that many Wedges at once . It was good to see/ meet every one and put faces to names. Even the "escort" came in handy

Thanks in particular to those who travelled some distance hope it was worth it .

Next time we will have to do a little more planning off line if you know what I mean !

........and no matter what Mrs H says , the Green one stays GREEN !!

We could do with a bit more

Just got back, good run out, nice to put a few faces to the names and great to see another M series car on the road.

Lets do a run up to Yorkshire next year when the weather is better.

Mrs H here:

Did anyone do a count up? We spent so much time yakking but think:

Griff 500 - 2
Chimaera 500 - 2
Chimaera 400 - 1
Wedge 350 - this is where we lost count
Wedge 400 - 2
420 SEAC - 1
450 SEAC - 1 - belatedly
M's - help!

(don't beat me up if I've forgotten anyone - just correct me)

We reckon about 15 all told. Not a bad turn out from an impromptu meeting.

AND DON'T FORGET - THE BENTLEY - thanks for sweeping up.

Oh.....and thank you for your assistance

Lazyitus had a minor problem on a blind bend , was assisted by some of Cheshires finest , Stainless arrived at the Davenport Arms , about 30 mins after everybody else .

Everybody behind Jon , thought he had been nicked !!

Apologies for my absence, but I was still guzzling the hard stuff at 04.00hrs.

Perhaps it is just as well I didn't come. The last time I followed a bunch of TVRs through those tunnels I damn near sold the Esprit to buy a car with a proper engine...

See you guys soon...

Cheers

Pat

That was a nice way to spend a few hours on a Sunday, thanks for that, it was good to see some TVR's and meet some PH'rs. Your cars all sounded awesome in the tunnel...I wonder what the Bentley would sound like with straight through exhausts? Or maybe I should take up that offer of a tape to play in the car.

I had a good run home, I took the A54 from Congleton to Buxton, very twisty and bumpy, not too nice with all those gouged out bits of tarmac where folks have bottomed, but the A515 between Buxton and Ashbourne is much better for my car...I think I overdid it a little, even passed some bikes!

Thanks folks, CYA again maybe.

It was very nice to meet you too Mr B G. I would have liked the chance to have a look at your big green beast before I was whisked off to John Lewis. Perhaps you'll join us again.
