Has anyone got any idea what the food is like in this place? I might skip my student dinner of pasta and buy some proper grub if serves good cheap food

Food is good. Meals are usually £6-10 with a specials board as well. Sort of average pub prices but nothing like ploughmans or baked spud last time I went.

See you at 7:15 Phila and the rest of you at 8 ish.

More thanks to Daz for the ride - that's definitely the most expensive place I've had my arse

Nice to be able to talk cars for a change and great to put faces to names!

Very impressed with the Porsche and TVR - two very different cars but both utterly sensational! Thanks very very much for the rides Bob & Daz!

Good to see you guys. On the way home spotted a V reg Griff, in Whiteparish - the other side of Salisbury. Next time if there aren't rivers on the roads, I bring a TVR.

Good location Bob, thanks for swaying the decision. As custodian to IMHO the finest road rocket known to man, I'm glad my co-pilots enjoyed the experience.

Good to put a few more faces to screen names and hope to see you at more meets.

LOL@phil - may i suggest 'lazy student tosser' - stolen directly from the TV series Game On

Thanks again Daz - great run! Was sat behind you all the way back to mine - was funny seeing your brake lights come on every time a puddle appeared ahead Am i right in thinking you spotted me behind you through Harnham? The reason i assume that, is that the moment we got to the NSL signs, you upped sticks set off on a mission to headbutt the horizon I was being rather careful as there was an 03 registered, silver, Vectra/Astra behind and i was worried it might have been one of her majesties finest (it turned out not to be.)

I think my idea of the worlds finest road rocket would have to have the looks and flambouyancy of the Tuscan, with the performance and handling of the Porsche Fantastic cars the pair of them!

DAVE

Spotted the white car with pop up headlights within a few minutes of leaving the pub, I also knew you would be following the same route.
