Sorry I missed the run today, but I've been up to my ears in packing so couldn't really spare the time. I hope you all had a good day and I look forward to coming along on a run when I'm back in May/June next year.

Have a great time Marcus, I am not in the least bit jealous!

sorry Phil, was that you that got left behind at the roadworks?

I went off left to my house at the ringroad. Glad to hear you made it home and didn't have to spend a night wandering round N Leeds.

You might end up deaf if you done that. I'm having a bit of hearing loss myself over the past few months.

Many thanks for everybody for making Linda myself and a Yellow Chim so welcome. We all had an excellent day and hope to see you all again sometime in the not so distant future.

Cheers, and good luck to all for the New Year.

No problem. Felt the need for a bit of loud pedal on the motorway though, and figured you could find your way back from there.

Yeah, well, it would've bin nice to hear the noise thru' the tunnel from the back for a change...
IF YOU'D ALL WAITED FOR ME!!!!!
Ding missed the first left hand turn from the pub so I waited and by the time I'd given up and hoofed it across that top road... JAYSUS that is a fast road, especially at huhum20mph!!! I just caught up with you guys at the T-junction... then Ding phoned and said she had turned round and was trying to catch up... so like the gentleman that I am.... (not a word Jo, James, Martyn, Adam, Gemini )

Well, back at work for a day before I fly down to Spain for the New Year tomorrow morning... Vicki sent a text saying it was quite hot, I replied saying it was -3 here

If i don't get another chance... Happy New Year to PistonHeaders far and wide

And here's to the EuroHoon 2004

And Jo, yes, I will be in the driving seat, I mean, who'd take a hard top through Europe in the summer?

Sorry I couldn't make it. Sounds like a good time had by all.
I'd like to wish you all a happy new year and safe motoring.

P.S. Chim_girl, have you any bacon left ? If so, can you e-mail me a couple of slices ? (No too crispy please ).

You were waiting for Ding, eh? Sure you're not too slow I feel I am fully justified in taunting you after the merciless pillock I have from you about driving too steady

Have a good craic in Spain

Regards to Eurohoon; anyone who has not seen the relevant thread, Ted has asked for anyone interested in going to mail him through his profile, link is below:

Jo! i told you not to try and make head or tail of it didn't I... now i have to explain.

On New Year's Eve in Spain, on each of the 12 strokes of midnight you eat a grape, but you must eat fast so that the 12th one goes in your mouth on the 12th stroke, not 10 seconds later afetr you've finished chomping on nos 9,10 and 11

If you succeed, it is supposed to bring you luck all year... which, as i mentioned previously, seemed to work for this year

Oh, and the women are supposed to wear red knickers for luck

er, whereabouts are you going AJ??
