I'd be up for joining you all on Boxing Day as it may be the last time I get to use the Tuscan before 1st May '04.

I'll warn you now, if you talk to me about being in the snow I may just start to cry. I have new ski's but can't get away this year.

I promise not to mention going to Canada snowboarding for 4 months, where they have had 7.5 feet of snow already, at all.

I'm up in North Leeds just inside the ringroad on the A61 (Harrogate Rd)

Don't mind where to go to, my excuse to drive is that I only see the mistress 6 months a year.

Anywhere near the Flying Pizza ? (My (and Jimmy Saville's) Favourite Pizza place).

The Royalty on Boxing day is a no go. Its the Chevin Chase (7 mile x-country running race from Guiseley up and around the Chevin and back to Guiseley) which means the Chevin road is closed for most of the morning.

Could be an alternative to shake off the christmas day excesses

Well spotted Paul - thanks for the info... never fear though, like I said, there are plenty of routes and certainly no shortage of pubs... i mean, it's Yorkshire for God's sake

Could some kindly soul who knows how to, please move this over to 'events & meetings'.

I originally posted it here in the hope of more people seeing it, as i know some people don't check to meetings forum and a few have said since Sunday "ah, we'd have loved to come but didn't know about it".

Gemini: I was going to come along to your meet this month but I'm away on the weekends.

Hi Phil,

the official West Yorks TVRCC meets are third Sunday of the month at the Manor Golf Club in Drighlington , 3 mins from M62 IKEA junction at 12 or 12.30, can't remember.

The possible Boxing Day Blast will be just some of us PHers getting together to blow the cobwebs away after much pie and pud - we had an impromptu run out on Sunday, five TVRs and the EB-SSV (Eastern Block Super Support Vehicle). Bacon butties, nice run out, couple of hours in the pub, what more could you ask for... oh and a Griff, Cerb, T350 and S3 doing full throttle through the airport tunnel
