Dave, what technique did you use to drive & take the rearward facing pics?

The "old raise arms in the air then click" technique
it's been around since God was a boy but i've modified it a bit

Apart from a few flames, the MG seems to have enjoyed her workout. Must get the tank seen to and the exhaust re-bolted, but probably will get the Jag fixed first. Nothing like providing entertainment for the drivers following me eh?

Glad the route went down well, I didn't even manage to take the wrong turning once! Look out for next month's meet in a few weeks.

Thanks to all who came along,

Sheepy

littlegearl again, damn my bro for keep messing with the PC!!!

cor first PH meet and a bloody good one at that!

ok, so i didn't get to talk to too many of you guys but i'm quite an unsociable fellow! was happy as a pig in the proverbial just being there amongst some of the machinery!!!

started the day with a car full but slowly lost members as Buff got a go in a Cerbera, thepedster in a Chim... me and timbob were quite happy playing catch up in the Cav though...

although you guys weren't trying i'm happy it didn't embarass itself that much! and 118mph* down the A41 weren't too bad for a car thats the wrong side of a 1/4 of a century old!!!

*did i say 118? i meant 70mph precisely!!!

two downpoints though, loosing you lot at houghton conquest (i think it was) but it meant i got to drive like a hooligan catching you up... and i only got the back end out proper once...

oggs, nice pics... BUT WHERE'S THE CAV!?!!?!?!!?!!

Great day out with a varied selection of vehicles, making for a very enjoyable drive
I noticed the Cav having a few traction issues on that damp roundabout Was good fun trying to catch everyone up after waiting ages at those traffic lights
Looking forward to the next one

Sounds like it was a great run.

Tried to join you in the wedge but got stuck in a traffic jam on the Aylesbury - Wing Road (presume an accident)at 10.10am and by the time I U-turned and found an alternative route you would have been long gone!!

Next time!

i think you'll find that my top speed was pretty slow compared to some that were achieved...

i believe i was even overtaken by one of our group when i was doing the wrong side of 110!!!

Paul, what did you get out of your Audi then!?! go on, i wont tell!!!

Buff, said he never saw you when we all hit the bypass, and i replied 'cos you were well gone!!!

i followed the 360 onto the A41 and spent most of it trying to keep up

edited to add: 'tis L'il.G again!
