Another PH event south of Watford gap.

Has anyone ever heard of the Lake District, or the Yorkshire Dales, or the Peak District?

Oh ..... and there's this other little country called Scotland somewhere ..... well ...... north I think.

luv it! Just shows what happens when you let a chav designer near your
pride and joy.
Moral: don't paint your wheels custard yellow and have dozy giant lettering over your bodywork...

Might just give the wrong impression.

And speaking of chavs... those 'bling' wheels on the blue Corvette - yuk!

Nick Mason's F1 GTR I believe. Still looks like a kit car with those stickers and yellow wheels he's had put on though.(the F1 has a bit of a kitcar vibe to it anyway wink )

LOL! I overheard a young kid asking his Dad what is was. He replied, 'That's a Noble my son'.

I'm sure Nick Mason was chuffed with that comment!

Boring question, but how do the Enzo and Veyron get away without front number plates?

A lot of these cars look much better without plates, so you just see if you can get away with it. Most do, so just carry on without.
Some carry a "just fallen off" plate with them. smile

a lot of these events are organised by PH'ers themselves, myself/Jaykaybi and a few others are a case in point and then PH are invited along.

there's nothing to stop anyone doing the same in any part of the country if you feel like taking the time out to do so?

For the love of god, not this old chestnut again!

Stuff only happens 'cos someone arranges it.

Some enterprising young chap or chap-ess (in this instance Jay) decides they want to make something happen and so it does.

If you want something in your area, it's up to you to arrange it and convince people to go.

Just want to echo that really - ORIGINALLY this event was just going to be a private affair between me and some likeminded supercar owning friends, but I decided to make it public, then we (Lord Pembroke and I) decided to make it for charity, and so PH was invited to hold a Sunday Service in the grounds as well. And the day was all the better for it.

By the way, yes I've heard of those places. Cracking roads you have there.

Well, that was my first visit to a PH event - and I have to say it was a million times better than I expected. Well done to everyone (JayKaybi et al)!

The public loved the event as well from what I could see. So many visitors turned up the Rotary Club were struggling for parking! I should imagine the good lords charity made a fortune - and Salisbury did not know what hit it!

Even Tiff Needell couldn't resist a nose!

Was an excellent day and a great convoy down from Warminster services.

Embarrassed to admit that I spent a while talking to Lord Pembroke in front of the house without knowing who he was! (I knew the chap I was speaking to was the owner of the Veyron but hadn't put 2 and 2 together)

Top guy though, opening his family home to hoardes of petrolheads.... excellent work by Jay as well, roll on the next event.
