BTW whoever had the griff reg J500XXX (?), it sounds superb from behind, even with the windows up and radio on.
Mine was the S3 with J500 TVR, and you were behind me for quite a while - thanks for the compliment if aimed at it!

Hope my antics at each roundabout didn't scare you, as I was playing with my new pedal setup and managed to get a nice bit of power-oversteer ont exit

Hi everyone....thanks for a great day, with great company and fabulous cars. Pretty slippery in places, including my undies on one occasion .

I counted 46 cars leaving Chessington when I reviewed the video. It may even be a few more after a recount , plus the Porsche that joined us en route as well as Tom O Smith in his filthy () Tuscan S.

For the up coming video and for historical accuracy , these were the marques I saw. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong and missed something out.

TVR
Porsche
Caterham
Noble
BMW
Ferrari
VW
Honda
Skoda RS (Hi Phil )

Also, I need everyone's photos (as well as videos) of the day, even those taken at Racing Green. Would those of you who took photos, either before we set off, during, and after arrival at RG, please, please contact me, if you're willing to have them included in the final film.

Thanks, and hope you enjoyed the trailer:

Luca, can't think of any other marques except the Smart at the Royal Oak. Most impressed the Porka was a GT3RS though, not seen one of those on the road before, whos' was that . Not forgetting the Honda was only an NSX, agian quiet a rare car.
Good to see such a varied range of cars, I think everyone would have a had a little moment in the conditions, good to see no one visited the scenery .

Ed / Bassfiend ,

you both saw me...... just not in my Imperial Blue Griff , as I've now sold it. (Went Thurs, back to an owner in Blackpool)

Coming down towards Hawley on the dual carriageway, there was a dirsty Red Scooby Wagon in front of you . Sorry couldn't resist it.....

Now for the next car... what should it be

J

LMFAO!!! Oh yeah!

That was while the Griff was still running on "Ultimate" and so was pinking like hell ... poor Ed just couldn't give it more than half a boot without it sounding rougher than my diesel!

I remember saying to Ed at the time "Get the impression he wants to play?"

If we'd seen you 15 minutes later (post Optimax transfusion) your ass would have been toast!

I was amazed at the difference between the two fuels ... absolutely astounding.

Talking of the Sagoris - did anyone manage to find the petrol filler cap !

The prototype doesn't have one. It will be in the same position as T350 on the production Sagaris.

Correct - it's inside the rear hatch .. lurking under a piece of trim... no cap or anything .. just the neat pipe.

Guess that's why they did not want it to be started .. their one and only prototype going up in smoke would not have been good.

Nice car though !
