Bournemouth Pub Meet 3 - 20/01/04

Hi all, have been speaking to Bob The Planner about arranging a few beers on Tuesday 20th.

Any one interested and any suggestions on a location?

I think there was about 10 of us last time but everyone is welcome.

Phil,

A pub near Bournemouth that is easy to find and has a car park would be fine .

Alternatively, the Coventry Arms on the A31 at Corfe Mullen has decent beer and good food. Its not on a bus route though.

How about where we met the first time?

"Harbour Lights" on top of the imax cinema on the water front. Plenty of car parking.

I hope you both had a good xmas and new year. I'm up for a meeting on the 20th, not too fussed about a location - i was quite impressed with the place in Coombe Bissett, but im quite happy to drive to Bournemouth if its easier for everyone else.

IMax is OK by me, if Dave can find the way into Bournemouth . I can find my way by bus from Poole :hic:

Perhaps back to Coombe Bisset for the one after ?

Its right down on the sea front. Follow the signs to the BIC. (Plenty of parking around)
Then pub we're going to is on top of the IMAX cinema which is right by the peer.

Started meeting up before Xmas for a few drinks.

I'm a student so i'm always up for a couple of drinks!

Next weekend is the southampton - portsmuff meet and my next Dorset trundle is on Feb 15 (see dorset dawdle) - bit far from Bedforshire though !

Mum lives just off the triangle, near the Multi Storey, and is in hospital at the end of this week so i'm down for 10 days or so until she comes home (company have an office in Wallisdown I can use). Am down once every couple of months, but never seem to make the meets. Made it to the Causeway a little while back though, but it was pre le Mans bike ride, and everyone was running around like blue arsed flies!

Any more details on the Sotton/potsmuff meet? Could wander over for a while...
