There is a regular Midland meeting and has been for over 4 years.
I arrange a drive and dine evening usually the second Tuesday of the month. We meet Brueton Park car park Solihull and leave at 7.30pm prompt for a 30 mile spirited drive around the lanes and end up with a pub meal.
The next one is Feb 10th.
We usually have around half a dozen cars and was originally a BMW Z3 event. Regulars now are a Porsche Turbo,a Lotus Exige and several BMWs including my M Roadster. Reckon on £20-£25 a head for food.
I can be contacted by e-mail.

Only found this message board 2 days ago.
All my events are BMW Car Club events in the first instance but as I organise them I please myself where I post announcements.
The meal venues can only cope with so many and keeping too many cars together can be difficult even with walkie talkies.
I have a table for 10 booked for dinner tomorrow night but latest estimates are now 16. Could have a problem!!!!!!!!!
Originally the events were for Zs but now there is more flexibility.
I'll keep posting.

I've got loads of routes and meal venues but need to have some idea of numbers. Feb 1st we had a 100 miler round the Cotswolds with lunch just outside Stow on the Wold. 6 cars, 11 people attended which was a good number at that time of the year. 2 M Roadsters, an M Coupe, 2 Z3s and a Porsche Turbo.
Tomorrow night I potentially have 16 people and 9 cars. That might be difficult to keep together on the lanes!!!!!!
