Suggested a run round Xmas and didn't get a single reply. I'm up for it. What about a meeting later in the year at Curborough when the sprinting is on. It's just off the A38 near Lichfield so fairly accessible. The first one is sometime in March so a bit of forward planning is possible

Fantastic food up at The Shires! we use the place quite regularly and the food and service is always fantastic. the country lanes are really good around there too! they are my regular stomping ground during the summer.
15th might be abit iffy for me though im affraid, but i will confirm closer the time. if i cant make this time, then i will definitely make the next one!
BLATANT DOUBLE-POST (what a risk-taker I am!!)
For the Griff Growl/ Midlands PHers. I live about 30 mins away from Gaydon. If you already know me (sorry, no strangers), I have 2 double rooms available for the night before. Will cost you a couple of bottles of decent wine.
Mail me if you want the beds.

Anybody in the Warwick/Leamington care to highlight a pub or two for the Gathering on saturday night of the Growl?
Pretty please?

The Leopard Inn in Bishop's Tachbrook is pretty good (I think Ocean1 organised a meet here a year or two ago). There's a big car park and some nice real ales (if you're into that sort of thing).

Can't find a dedicated website to it unfortunately. Rooms in the Mallory Court Hotel opposite it start at around £200 though...

That's why I'd prefer to use a pub/hotel in or within walking/short bus ride of B&B's, so that you're not talking £300-400 for a weekend. Also, I thought about Stratford, but having been there for a piss-up, wouldn't go back, and then there's the tourist season. Although, there is a nice pub on the road up from the RS Theatre, thinking about it.
