Careful when you're around me Flasher, mate. My car has developed Toyota's "sudden unexplained surge" syndrome.

Could happen at any moment!

wink
Well, it'll make a change from last year! hehewink

(OK, OK, I'll get me coat...)
It can surge more than once in a weekend, you know Havoc !

mad
Which is more than it's owner can now, so I'm told! laugh

there for three days, althought compared to last year which i watched on tele, the races seem smaller engined, less powerful(i know thats not what its all about) as enteraining as minis and under 2 litre touring cars can be, the circuit i would of thought is to large and wide?

however i am prepared for them to prove me wrong biggrin

Also shame the world sports car masters are out once frown

Very much looking forward to these fellas in particular (in lieu of a GTC race).

Methinks a good lurk around the paddock will be in order prior to the race to watch/hear them filing into the pits smile

I'll be there on Saturday/Sunday with a few mates - can't wait as I missed the event last year. Tradition dictates that I'll be taking/displaying my beloved Supervan:

I have a spare pass for Saturday if anyone wants it and can work out the logistics of getting it from me tomorrow morning?
I might be interested Lucy smile Are you going? So is meeting you at the gate a possibility? How much do you want for the ticket?

And I've still got a spare Sunday ticket - free to a good (PH) home, if someone can collect from Coventry or Silverstone.

Great event, classic racing from cars such as the Fiat Abarth. Good selection of 911's.

Wahey, I find i am going today. I have a pal with a pair of passes and he's taking me in his R8, which is nice biggrin. I have another friend racing in the Formula Junior category, would be nice if we could meet up with him too.

Haven't been to the Classic before, so i'll be interested to see what I think of it, 'cos I've never thought of Silverstone as an alternative to Goodwood etc. We'll see. smile

The Breadvan was not in attendance - although in the pre-1963 TT Trophy there was Carlos Vogele's 330GTO instead. There were two T61 Maseratis - the Minshaw car finished second in the 1950s sportscar battle.
