Ladies and Gents,

well, what can I say...

Great to see you all again & meet some of you for the first time.

I can confirm we had a verified 200MPH run by Adam in the Ruf. I never thought I'd see the day.

I will come back with full results as soon as I can amalgamate the lists (30 lists!)

Just to say thanks to the drivers for (on the whole) acting superbly responsibly & ensuring we had a great day. People seemed to be getting more runs than ever it seemed.

A big thanks to my pal Greg for his superb marshalling which made my job a whole lot easier.

Thanks to the spectators who were all very courteous & polite.

Ted, good to meet you, great and extremely stealthy car you have there.

Mrs Fish, thanks for the great chockie brownies you baked, about the best I've ever had!

BigT, hope the rear screen is ok, the timing guys said it was one of the most spectacular things they've ever seen, it flew about 100ft into the air then exploded like the death star!

Daz, Der, Joust and the rest of the regulars, thanks for being so generous with passenger rides.

To the bird (feathered) I hit at 160mph, thanks for making a right f***ing mess of my car

On another note, Bruntingthorpe have never had a noise complaint...EVER, until yesterday (you know who you are)

Also, I still have a few VMAX caps in my boot, if anyone wants one drop me a line. Also the vmax dvd is in production & will be available at cost price asap.

Thanks again guys, cheers to another great day.

Thanks to Craig and Greg for making the day run smoothly as usual. Great to see the VMAX crowd again - cheers particualrly to Rich (360) and Tony (Diabolo) for the passenger rides, truly spectaluar stuff - an of ocurse I couldn't forget to mention Mrs Fish's spectacular chocolate cookies mmmmmmmmm

As a lot of you saw I spent most of the day trundling about with the movie camera dodging the rain, so hoping that the 60+ minutes of footage I've amassed will turn into something watchable soon. Planning to ahve a pistonheads.tv trailer out this week.

Cheers all

Alan,

Lovely to meet you, like most of these events there is inevitably a list of people you wish you'd spoken to, and cars you wish you'd blagged a run in.

You and your amazing car were on both of my lists.

Lovely looking car, and a paintjob like no other. It sounded great down the straight too, trust me!

Speak next time?

Cheers,

Greg

Honest - we don't mind.

A few times I found myself pootling down to the start line passengerless having to wave to people I knew to see if they want a ride. The problem with that is all the people I don't know (or can't remember) don't get a chance.

Just open the door and jump in people - I don't mind!

Ditto. I found myself passengerless more often than not and was glad for those passengers who did jump in (cheers rico & trackdemon). It's good to have someone to chat to and keep an eye on the speed readout when you're trying to concentrate on where to brake.

Slinksport - next time you WILL come in my car!

Kevin,

It was the 2 355s I think. Could have been the light blue 360 Spider, but I doubt it.

Wasn't the Stradale, far too quiet and restrained

Did anyone get a ride in the 355s or the Murky lager? I asked twice for the murky lager and was just told "no"

Theres a very funny story about that geezer in the Murci, mail me for it, I'm not sure I want to post it here.

Did anyone else think he looked like Marcus Tandy out of Eldorado?

The chaps in the 355's were last seen on the side of the motorway, apparently one of their clutches finally threw in the towel, oops!
