Best advice is to follow the signs for the Porsche Experience Centre as it's clearly directed. That said, i'm up there on Wednesday, so I'll check it out and will report back.

Just to be clear; reading the directions, we should turn off the A43 onto Dadford road for silverstone circuit, straight over the 2 roundabouts and then follow signs to the Porche Experience centre correct?
Yeah, you turn off the A43 for Silverstone (Dadford Road), but instead of turning left at the first roundabout for the main entrance, you carry on past to the next roundabout where you turn left (assuming coming from the A43)

I take it bringing a passenger is OK, it is the car numbers that are restricted. ????

Passengers are fine, it's only the car space that's restricted smile

If you're coming down form the A43, then the above map will show the entrance you need to take into the circuit.

That happened to one of our locals too, she signed up for it and it dissappeared, however she is now 702 on the list, so with any luck a couple will drop out who can't make it
Think that might have been me - I've moved up to 658 now so I'm very happy!

Hi Folks, first post to PH so sorry if this ends up in the wrong place.

700 cars, many with 2 or more occupants = over 1,000 people. Are Porsche able to cope with (and feed) that many??

George.

Thanks for the reminder e-mail - I had forgotten all about this but now I'm well up for it. First PH meet, although a regular at Goodwood breakfast club. Something about god-awful early starts on sundays and the promise of petrol and bacon just does it for me. biggrin

yes

Don't worry, we've done this before and most of the time it works, think relaxed and informal rather than military precision.

I can't gauarantee there won't be a queue for breakfast, but you will get fed eventually. We have been talking to each other regularly, and I was up there today to sort out the event in detail.

I'm not drawing a map I'm afraid.

I did include some directions on the email I sent out recently, and there are others within the article attached to this thread.

Head to Silverstone (that's easy enough), off the A43 don't turn left on the roundabout that heads to the circuit entrance, instead take the second roundabout.

Basically, follow the signs for the Porsche Experience Centre.

Sorry .. but I can't go ... stupid wife has booked my mothers birthday lunch at 12pm ... so there is not enough time for me to get back.

How do I remove myself from the list so someone in the reserve list can go???

Thanks

To remove yourself from the list, just uncheck the 'attending'' box wink

Sorry you can't make it.
