Was going to come, but Lee, why start off on a back foot by asking that silly question?

We all enjoy our cars and surely thats what the meets are all about.

These "other car" drivers are friends met at previous meets and creating this "them & us", is in my mind, for a PH meet foolish, hence my reason for not attending. I want a relaxed meet not one effected by silly rules.

See ALL of you at the next Leighton Buzzard meet, Porches, MGs, Ferraris, Audis, Vauxhalls, Lotus etc

I used to have one of those with a hatchback, superb car. It also went by the name of OPEL Manta Berlinetta Coupe, and was a fantastic bronze colour. Does yours have brown cordroy seats, what about orange deep pile carpets with yellow flecks and a gear stick that is about 2 ft long. As mine was the two door it also had windows without the glass guides. I bet your petrol tank is rusting away as I speak.

I have a set of wheels with new tyres from when I scrapped it (£20 for 4), I should not have bought the tyres before the MOT.

Have fun with wet roundabouts,

Z

Hey, it looks a real classic! Bring it along!

My ex had a Manta Berlinetta SR auto. That was a classic too until she argued with our concrete gate post. How she cried and I laughed...

You should have seen some of the things that I have owned and you wouldn't worry about whatever you drive. If you like TVR's or anything interesting, I can guarantee you will be made welcome.

Beware I have an odd sense of humour though...

Right to clarify!

It is a meet for TVR enthusiasts, but if you have something interesting that isn't a TVR, bring it along. If you haven't anything interesting, but want to look and chat, have a beer or a bite, you are still welcome.

It seems my attempt at humour failed, so apologies if I have rubbed anyone up the wrong way.

About midday. Food is available in the Thai restaurant until 2pm.

I will be there with Mrs Montego. I'm expecting a Chimp from Clifton and another Griff from Wilstead.

The info has been circulated around the TVRCC Northants membership, so we should get one or two from there. Otherwise we will have to wait and see.

Lee thanks for the e-mail.
If only I knew you were joking...........would have saved a rant. So apologies for not seeing the humour in your post.
