Apologies if this is out of turn.

But FFS this is a sports car site and £20 is less than half what it costs to fill a Chim.

Its going to be a cracking laugh, there will be much mirth and merryment and all PH do's have been a consumate success.

So stop the whining, get the roof down and...

Part of the admission price is for two days of drag racing. That forms a significant part of the ticket price before adding on PistonFest elements.

I appreciate it's not an insignificant amount - it's my job to make sure that you get value for money and I'm working hard on that.

Dont get the wrong idea I'm not being tight, it's just that for two of us its close to £100 which isnt cheap. I dont like the thought of someone lecturing me about how I spend my money either, especially moderators. I think you know where I am coming from....

I enjoyed last year and I'm sure I will this year. The additional nights camping does have an effect though, as my girlfriend doesnt fancy kipping two nights in a field, one looked possible two is asking too much....couple that with the fact it's three days before we go on holiday and you can see why I'm probably coming on my own now!!!

Look forward to seeing you all there.

P.S. Will you be pirouhetting round the field at midnight ths year Ted?

Ted? Anyone?

Nope. It's at a motorsports venue and as such they are never allowed on the site.

Oh, I didn't go last year. Just read on the back of the ticket they weren't allowed this year and going on normal motorsports venue rules

Sorry, we'd really rather not have animals on site because of the motorsport.

In regard to the value for money thing, we had a very productive meeting this evening going over some of the plans.

I'll be able to announce more of the activities/attractions shortly. We've got a lot more planned than last year and hopefully it will be a very attractive package.

I have to wait on some paperwork/permits for some of it but if it comes off it should be a lot of fun.

More news as soon as...

I know its not the same but weekend events at Drag Racing cost £40 per person at Santa Pod, on average. We are paying £40 for this event at Avon Park with 3 nights camping, weekend entertainment- live music (?) etc, our own beertent (me thinks?) and a whole lot more... a bargain if you ask me

Where's me tenner Ted?

It'll probably be worth having an area cleared of those inconvenient posts, just in case.

Well I'm going agin. I can't remember how much it was last year and I can't even remember how much I just paid for this year. I thought it was about the same - but for much more.

I just hope the weather is as good.
