Thinking of coming.. and bringing the GF, but don't want it to be too... beardy (no offence)

How many people will probably go?

It's not all TVRs is it? (sorry!). I see all the pics of TVRs and get freaked it might be like some MG car club meeting with people talking about carburettor nozzle shapes and stories of replacing spark plugs by the side of the road in the rain!

Not that I think TVR owners are a weird cult....

I'll probably come in asking if you can get one with an automatic and be burned at the steak!

I'm hoping it's a general performance car meet, and a less 'traditionalist' car nut with a Merc 190E looking at buying a 500SL or P968 will feel just at home as a cerbera-ist with a side-order of Caterham JPE? And I hope to see loads of those cars you don't see often.. 993TTs, esprit V8s, integrales etc!

Let me know and I'll go back inside my box

hope i'll see you all there!

Russ

Nah, we'll all be too pi$$ed to say anything remotely coherently car related except perhaps the occasional impersonation of a V8 as it goes past

It encompasses all types of cars, not just TVRs.

It is a weekend camping, with lots of beer flowing, with like minded people and lots of entertainment.

Last year was great, and this year is shaping up to be so much better

Most defintely a multi-marque event and not beardy (well only one that I can think of anyway).

It's a performance car gathering but more your Porsche, Ferrari, TVR, Lotus, Ultima type.

You can park it next to my Fiat (well not too close)

Ted, can we have a special enclosure for track cars as opposed to road cars?

Hey Jimbro,
The lemans championship you race in, did it used to be called the roadsaloons championship? If so that is the series that my astra raced in, by a guy called Andrew Mitchell. Thre are only a few bits of info i can find on the web about it. Do you have any bits and bobs of info, as i'm pretty interested.
(i believe it was called Lumenition road saloons, and they were a major sponsor, along with microdynamics???)

There was a Smart there last year - got plenty of attention Should be there this year too...

Could have taken the Cerb, but as you say - they were quite common on the day!! Best to stand out from the crowd.

Pentoman

Come along and play

This year's PF will be my first, but from the tales I have heard from last year it should be a premium craic event!

I will make sure I shave before attending so as not to scare yourself and your lady, because I presently look like this:

Get yourself there, my saab's going and I definitly don't have a beard (see profile). If people start talking about engines and mechanicals I will be the one with the puzzled look on my face heading for the beer tent All I know is that you put petrol in it and the right pedal makes it go very quickly
