Engine builder recommendations?

Looking for a good engine builder in the North East. Anyone got any recommendations? Anywhere between Leeds and Newcastle would be great, ideally in Cleveland, but a little further away isn't a big deal.

I had my engine built by QED, they are based near Nottingham.

Depends on the type of engine that you are looking to have built though???

It's a Mazda BP - 1.8 16V and I'm looking to go for an overbore, new pistons with higher CR and possibly rods, light headwork etc. Want someone who can lighten, knife edge and balance a crank too. QED are K series specialists ??

Don't know if this is a bit late in the day - but AMAC in Northallerton have a v.good rep - motoscope speak highly of them (so they must be good), although I hear there's often quite a waiting list.
