Custom pistons gibtec?

Looking at getting some custom pistons made, any recommendations?

Been looking at Gibtec, they get great reviews in the states.

Who else? Omega only want to do a run of 24! I only need 6!

We have had JE one engine set specials made through Jon at Cambridge Motorsports. Very happy with the results. The FSR with Tuff Skirt coating pistons are working well for us on the track.You can order direct from JE but Jon has a good relationship with them.

In the UK...probably none.

I've had custom JE's done before via Dave at Performance Unlimited in York ( 4 replacements )

I've had custom Diamond sets made in the US ( full 8 )

The Gibtec started apparently from ex Diamond people and they certainly look to make good stuff

Not sure if your recently is for Dave Andrews?
We developed supercharge spec pistons with Cambridge Motorsports for MGBs a few years ago , they sell loads and we use a set a year. We use more JE MGB pistons in FIA 1840cc, Club race specs of 1867 and larger bore 1950. Never had a problem. In the past they have made 1 off Peugeot pistons and we have sent many others through Cambridge Motorsports. We are just about to send a 1275 A series piston at 1380 as basis for FSR-type and coating treatment.
