You not got a local garage/mechanic you can take it to?

Does sound like the DPF or maybe a flexi pipe blown maybe, but could be anything...be worth getting it up in the air have a look underneath smile

It does sound DPF related. Problem is, as I learnt through experience, DPF faults are a nightmare and you just end up chasing ghosts swapping out parts until its resolved.

DPF issues can also be symptoms of another issue like injectors etc

Try a indie specialist, good luck.

A DPF regen should produce a little bit of smoke, certainly not a huge cloud! Most drivers wouldn't even notice the puff of smoke from the end of a DPF regen, nevermind seeing it several times and thinking their car was broken.

Ì had a 250 for a year and never noticed any smoke in the mirrors during regens And I knew when it was doing them.

I dont know what the solution is, but it’s certainly not normal.

MIne was pre-AdBlue, is yours?
