First up, apologies if this is the wrong forum, its not too obvious where a question like this would go.

I'm just wondering if anyone has some experience / advice with importing an Engine / Transmission & Differential from the USA?

Are there any good companies that can source the parts and package them up for me and send the across(to the UK), or am I stuck trying to get each part individually sent by whomever I manage to source it from?
I would have thought there were companies existing for this very purpose but google isn't bringing many good options up.

Specifically I'm after a:
LFX V6 from a Camaro / MV7 Transmission from a Cadillac CTS 2008-2012 / Getrag Diff from 2006-2008 CTS (LSD)

I've been able to find most of what I want on Car-Part.com but again all from different source etc.

Anyone gone through this process before?

You would have to get all the parts shipped to one location of a UK importer, then put into a container with other parts &/or cars being shipped to the UK
Give Ron a ring & talk to him, he can talk you through everything & bring the parts in at a reasonable cost, he is a really nice friendly guy who knows what he is doing.

You'll find a few guys on here who import stuff. Usually LS etc, but no doubt they could get others.

Or Ron above and Stefan Rossi/ACE Engines in California export a lot of stuff every few weeks.

Does Stefan export separately? as Ron exports from Stefan's premises, although he told me last week he will be moving soon.

I've sent Ron an email. (I'm in Mozambique right now & the phones are sketchy)
So I'll see what he comes back with, but other options are always great.

I don't think so...well I guess other than engines Stefan supplies and builds. But as you say, that's where the items people wish transported all get grouped into the container for transport.

He's set up quite a workshop where he is already, unless he's already outgrown where he is ?

I think the workshop Stefan is in now he has been in for a year or so, still expanding, he's got his own engine dyno now.
If only he didn't do so many if those 4 cyl. things & concentrated on real engines with 8 cylinders biggrin

He seems to be doing a great job with both !

STS can ship it for me, but they can't source it.
I'll try one of the other options, problem is as I can't go and inspect it, there's no way of telling what some unscrupulous seller could give me.

And that is your biggest problem.
From your post I read you had already sourced them?
Unfortunately there are as many unscrupulous sellers as there are honest ones, and you wanting 3 separate make units means 3 x the risk.

I've found various potential on eBay or Car-Parts.com. But no real way of checking how good they are.
Plus finding a block complete with ancillaries as well.

I'll keep chipping away, I've got 10 days in mandatory quarantine next week so I'll have nothing but time.

Have searched in the UK for the parts?
There are several breakers in the UK who specialise in modern American cars, most of the vehicals they have are from US Forces personal serving over here who don't get on too well with driving on the wrong side of the road (to them anyway). Also many breakers in Germany for the US forces over there.

As already said, there are guys on that FB page who can do it for you. They bring over LS engines/parts often so would have contacts.

I joined the linked FB group & made a request there.

Unfortunately after just a couple of replies and about 30 mins, it looks like my topic has been deleted. It does say in the rules that only LS related topics are allowed, but apparently whomever moderates it won't even allow any V6 questions.

I've had a look for some of these UK American car breakers, but no luck so far, most of what I can find is ancient stuff that's no what I'm after.

Carlos Perez, Kevin Snazelle-Halliday, Benito Chiarella, Dave Lea are some of the guys who import stuff from that group, if you maybe try contacting them

Thanks Stevie.
I'll drop them a DM and see if they can help out.
