Question on fluids for Renault Master Quickshift6 Gearbox

I have a 2008 Renault Master 2.5 dci fitted with the automated gearbox known as Quickshift6.

I am trying to find out what fluid is within the reservoir down low on the nearside of the engine. It was overfilled and expelling out the cap so I reduced the level but not sure if I have reduced it too far.

Handbook says to refer to a dealer. I think the reservoir is for the clutch and the fluid is ordinary dot4 brake fluid but am hoping someone can confirm.

You are correct, any dot 4 brake fluid will do , the pipe goes to the slave cylinder as long as there is fluid in there you will be fine.
