Dear Piston Heads

I'am making enquiries as to doe's anyone know of any manufactures that produce small capacity Rotary (Wankle) engines, no more than 50-55cc. As I am wishing to fit one to a motorbike and race next year in a amature 6hr endurance race series called Moped Mayhem ( www.mopedmayhem.com ).

Any help would be gratefully recieved

Try:

www.monito.com/wankel/

For general rotary stuff,

www.uavenginesltd.co.uk/ may have something you can use.

I was involved with some mates in a Moped Mayhem years ago at our local kart circuit. Back then it ran for 24 hours (not 6! Pussies!) and the bike had to be near-original, i.e. you couldn't put a Z1300 motor on a Honda 50 and expect to get away with it.
As far as I recall the winning team was from Kawasaki UK, with Team Norfolk & Goode a close second... ;-)
Lots of gaffer tape, Newcy Brown and sliding off into the scenery if I recall...
