Anyone got any experience of A-Series engine suppliers / rebuilders etc. I know of MED but I'm looking for some other options to get a good 1330 / 1380 engine built.

Cheers...

You could try minipower. The guy who owns it was a partner in minispeed, but he left a few years ago.

Don't expect to get the car back quickly, tho'.

I have a 1380 Road Rocket from Swiftune racing, great engine and really good after sales service, so pleased I took it back a year later and had the Jack knight SCCR gearbox fitted by them

Cheers

You mentioned MED reace rengines already, but I can only praise their workmanship. I was running a 150 horse turbo motor using unleaded (albiet super) for 4 years with no major problems.......not bad for an engine which was originally designed for 34bhp...

I have heard lots of horror stories from turbo owners using inferior bits and backstreet builds. If your're going the mental route, and you want it to last with minimum risk then digging deep will pay off
