RV8 Hotwire Wiring Digram

Does anyone have an engine wiring loom diagram for the hotwire (14CUX)versions of the engine management they could send me?

Don't have a full diagram, but I do have a loom and know roughly where everything goes. Is there anything in particular you want to know?

Hi Peter, basically I want to do a continuity check while the loom is out and on the bench.

In that case, knowing the ECU plug pin-outs would enable you to test just about everything?

Peter Yes! If you have a list. Am i right i thinking they messed about with the numbering of the ECU connector at some point? Maybe thats why Eliot has posted two diagrams!!!

I haven't compared the two to see what differences there are. I do know that Steve Heath's book shows two different digrams for the ECU connector pinouts, which as far as I can see are identical except that one of them shows the connector upside down.

The top diagram doesnt have a canister purge valve where the bottom one does, havent looked any closer for other differences yet

I also had two people swear blind that they were different...... Just don't trust a Wedgeowner....

There are several wiring diagrams for the ECU in the bible pages 84 and 85. The 84 one was based on another diagram and then hand traced. The bible also has the basic wiring tests as well.
