What is LS V-tech?

I've been trying to find out what LS V-Tech is for a few days now, but can't find any more info than that they are used in Integras.

A friend of mine asked me what it was when he saw it on a Teg that he raced. I had no idea. I can only asue it's some variation on the V-Tech variabble valve timing system, but how does it differ?
