I've got a 1986 mrk1 mr2 sitting in the garage. Its been sat for at least 5 years and is in need of a ground up rebuild. I reckon it needs stripped to the shell, new front wings, new rear quarter panels, new sills, a full respray, the leather seats recovered, The engine replaced / rebuilt etc etc. Its a mess.

What ball park figure would i be looking at, to get a specialist to do a full rebuild?

thanks.

Youd be better posting this in yesterdays heroes or jap chat. However, I can cheerfully tell you that it will cost a heck of a lot more than the restored value of the car smile

Costs will vary wildly depending upon how much of the work you do yourself / where you take it to have work done / how quick you want it done

Thanks shouldbworking

I was'nt to sure where to post. I figured it would be expensive, but the car has 'emotional value'. Just trying to calculate roughly how much £, so i can work out wether to keep it or scrap it.

thanks.
