Over sizing injectors

The problem is that opening/closing time is not 100% constant, so as soon as your injector period becomes small enough to make opening/closing a significant time, metering accuracy will suffer. On a competition engine this isn't likely to cause problems other than a rough idle, but it could make road car unpleasant to live with.
