HELP please Renaut Espace 52 plate 300 TDi V6 engine prob

Can anyone offer any advice please,
I have a Renault Espace 3 litre Turbo Diesel V6 on a 52 plate, when towing the engine cuts in power and on the dashboard it gives me a warning symbol and the words fuel injection system faulty.
I took it to a dealer and it came up showing a fault code indicating the temperature sensor which I replaced and still have the problem, got another Renault technician to plug it in to another machine and showed the same fault they replaced the item with the genuine new part still have problem after spending all day on it eventually claimed had found fault being a broken wire and was sent on my way.
The car appeared to work Ok until I started towing again 2 month later approx, I know if I take it back they sell me another temperature sensor I don't think this is the problem.
Has anybody experienced anything like this and can offer advice?
