Anyone done this?

is it possible to replace it, then having a refill and doesnt cause a HGF? airlock?

it is in awkward place below inlet manifold on block side.

It one of those small job that becames big job to do

Piece of p*ss,make sure the engines cold and dont release the expansion cap,then undo the old sender leaving it in by a couple of turns,then with the new one in your other hand quickly remove the old one and screw in the new unit quick as you can,then just nip up with the spanner/socket aye presto,and no need to bleed winkif done correctly you should have only lost a couple of dribbles of coolant,good luck.
