hi again guys, like i said i'm rubbish with wiring. Will wiring uo the ignition module be easy, or would it be easier to convert back to an old points style, and is this possible without having to change the dizzy? thanks

You will need.
Ignition switched live which connects to coil positive and the ignition amplifier. (White)
Ignition amplifier to coil negative. (white/black)
Ignition amplifier to ground. (Black)

The amp may be two pin in which case it grounds through the body.

I don't know for sure so an inspection is in order but it looks like it will just drop in.

Don't take the amp off unless you have to. If you do remove it then it must be refitted with heat transfer paste on the back. It gets hot and if it can't loose the heat back into the dizzy body it will go pop.
