i know, i went to see it and although it feels a bit rough and would appreciate a rebuild or service, all the bits were there. but as you say the price has gone a bit mental.....

is it a case of just sitting and waiting?

had a check earlier, very nice i must say, but i bet you are sick of hearing that......

what were the extra costs involved for mounting brackets and pulleys?

Well I made the brackets, modifying some pulleys I got from someone who owes me a favour. Whole thing should cost me around £1100, blower capable of a lot more, so may go for Omega Pistons and blow some more air in later. The main thing to worry about is the fueling, ignition and possibly the cooling, depending on boost level and compression level. Are you running FI?

Isn't that an old roots type blower though? Hope youve got enough room to fit it in if you go for it.

Hi,
yes there is one that I know of, but it depends on your engine. Has to be fuel injected with no distributor, as it sits ontop of the inlet, replaces the plenum, and the snout over hangs where the distributor is on older engines. If I remember its an Eaton. But I wouldn't bother with it, as the outlet is so small that it has difficulties feeding the same air to all the cylinders apparently. I would go with a centrifugal, as they are more efficient or fitting a roots but have it remotely mounted so it feeds in through the original plenum intake,
