OK you got me there! I'm not looking for an engine at the moment although I was a year back and probably will be again this time next year. But perhaps others here are. Can you tell us more about the engine (spec, age/condition, what bits come with it)? Also if you have any idea what sort of money you're looking for?

. As for the out and out agressive sales pitch, as you will obviously be aware, most Tiv owners looking at this sort of transplant know what they want. An old engine whipped out of a car without a total strip down is not necessarily the way to go unless it is a stunning bargain and worth the punt/risk, IMHO. People who are looking for an exchange engine IME will prefer to go with a rebuilt full lump and pay for it.
Yes there is a market for this kind of lump. However, I think the market is more likely to be from the kit car frat, who will probably strip it down themselves first before installing it.
How much you seeking for this engine out of interest and what is the 'known' history/condition

My do i detect some interest ?
i will find out the full spec and history this week as i merely sell them on a commission basis .The engine come with all the injection system , alternator ,poly V belt tensioner , rocker covers,flywheel etc etc.
If someone is in a helpful mood ? i can e-mail them a photo and they can suss out better than me how to put a photo on the website ?

I have a 450 SEAC with rare wheels, i need a new centre for it but if you have any the same i might buy two wheels for spares.They are 16"
You can see the wheel centre in the background clearly.

The engines i now have for sell are as follows ;
TVR 5.0 litre,320 BHP,V6 Serpentine engine ,3000 miles only,complete with injection system and alternator .Engine will be fully checked over by TVR specialist prior to sell . £3000 .Taken from a Griffith.
TVR , 4.5 litre ,285 BHP ,Serpentine engine ,lows miles [to confirm exact amount ].As above will be fully checked over , Taken from a Chimaera . £2000.
Will gladly e-mail photo,s to interested parties .Viewing more than welcome.
