Duratec chipping

Am looking to buy an ST24 ( can't afford an ST200) and was thinking about getting it chipped. Has anyone done this and if so, is it worth it? Is there a noticeable improvement in the performance?

If you fit an induction kit and a good exhaust system you should get about 190 with a chipping session. check this link for other ideas.
