Ha!! Right now, I'd be very happy just having a garage full of classic exotica that I could pull the covers off and simply gaze at in wonder, enjoying their curves and proportions to my heart's content..... wink

Not a impossible task for you, Not that you need reminding, House all paid for, no money draining kids to distract you and two

valuable Mini Cooper S 's in the garage, You are most probably in a better place than most of us are to take that

irrational but exciting step, If you would prefer to add rather than sell your pride and joys money at present is so cheap that

it's almost not worth using your own, Prices have softened and may continue to but if the perfect car came up i'd make a move,

If it's not what you hoped it would be your not married to it and can always sell it .

Sorry none of my business but with the way the world is today life's to short not to feed that passion.

Thanks Dunk - it's a car I've already got my eye on, I'm not quite there with the funds yet but I am definitely drawn to it. Always good to know a car's history and I know it's been through Dickie Grace's hands too.

What was it like to drive, and what was the auto box like compared to a manual...?

Really am interested in this one, which would entail a six hundred mile round trip to view. If some kind soul would buy my Mini 30 I'd be in with a shout!

Edit : just remembered you spoke about the autobox back in October, but would love to hear more about your ownership of L299 RTP wink

Nice clip here on one of the seven RHD QPIs built, I had a feeling this might be the same car that was for sale in Market Harborough a short while ago as the interior and roof colour are exactly the same, but as the video says it was the '69 Earls Court show car and went to Hong Kong back in 2017....

Went to see "House of Gucci" the other day,set in Italy in the 80's/90's, lots of period Italian cars,Villa's and lakes,

Lady Gaga was briilliant as she was in "A Star is Born"

I know she's not everybody's cup of tea but she can really sing and now act,yes

Nothing this week on the Maser - I still haven't bought a new battery for it but as we're nipping out tomorrow I'll have a look for one. Haven't fitted the new shiny trident badges yet either, which reminds me, I really ought to get the spare bootlid repainted and fitted first.

A sudden burst of DIY activity isn't helping!

If i needed the extra seats would be ideal ,are these cars going up ,i'm sure the prices are higher than a year or so ,

Should have a knock on affect on your Masa, I would like the next car to be ECU free so i can fix it with a spanner and

a screwdriver, taxed and MOT exempt although i don't mind putting a mot on them, cheap way of having a safety check.

Think it will be a yank or a raw open 2 seater ,maybe a British equivalent of the 300S on the Shed Racing channel.

Keep them comingthumbup
