ECU refurb

Hi all, my 2006 GranSport has a faulty gearbox ECU, does anyone have any recommendations for ECU refurbishment companies?

The fault has been diagnosed by Maserati themselves but a replacement part is ££££ and apparently it's relatively rare (part number 215247) so can't see any on eBay and have tried a few breakers.

I called Maserati Shed but they only supply their own reworked parts and this one isn't something they stock.

I might be way off base here, but on an episode of Wheeler Dealers there was a guy operating from his garage who refurbished Maserati electronic components. Not sure what he was called, but I'm sure you could find the episode on You-Tube and watch it carefully for clues.

Thanks buddy, you’re exactly right and Mike (engineer) is a bit of a genius, but he’s the Maserati Shed fella I mentioned above, unable to help sadly!
