Maserati Levante - any problems appearing?
Discussion
Looked at one today, really like it but the dealer will not budge an inch on price. Sign of the times maybe, but a quick look on Autotrader and I can save 8 grand. I don’t have anything to trade in, wouldn’t qualify for finance even if my great grand parents would go guarantor. Can transfer funds immediately, but they weren’t for budging.
For anyone that owns one, is the boot space big enough for two medium sized dogs (Dobermann’s)

I've traded in twice against Levante's - first time a Cayenne to getting my first Levante. It was a new dealer stock, but managed to move them a bit but of course its difficult to say how much as its against a PEx.
And have just done the same again, moving from my Levante (had it two years) to a new Trofeo. There was flexibility in there, managed to play with a bit of finance / cash / accessories, but again as it was PEx its hard to say too much. If its any reassurance, the fact that I've moved from one Levante to another is a positive thing!
I'd be surprised if you can't get the dealer to move a bit on price, really surprised. Whilst they're selling more cars than they have for a while, I've always been under the impression that they need to shift units and as with any dealer there is an opportunity to do something. Maybe you just have to walkaway and see if they call you a few days later...?
As to Doberman's - I'm not a dog person, but while the boot isn't the biggest on an SUV it hasn't come up short for me. Will the dealer let you try it, I guess is the key question!?!

I’m going back on Monday with the dogs to try the boot, he’s fine with that, but he will not budge on price. It’s an independent dealer, not Maserati. Having searched this morning Maserati Belfast have one in stock that is slightly cheaper but comes with a 12 month warranty.
I think I’ll take a trip to Belfast on Monday.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Any issues with the Levante?

That's where I just got my Trofeo from! They delivered it but did charge...or not because of course as per the above things get wrapped up. But they were helpful and we managed to get a deal done. Speak to Julian - decent guy - I think he's the sales manager there. If you end up with a blue one with cream interior then there's a fair chance its mine :-) Been treated very well with a lot of TLC
