Monaro cluster modding

is there anyone in the herts area with a 05 CV8 (small boot) / a 05 VXR that is willing to allow me to plug in my gear and just read some settings out of your clusters so i can do some comparisons and maybe only maybe do so beta testing for me? i will always make sure everything i look at trying has a way back to factory.

No I haven't
Battery flat , no tax and no mot ... So hopefully at the end of the month will get it sorted.
I start it every now and then but just working stupid hours so no real rush to let here free
But it is clean

i understand that the kit i have can do some work on VT's and VX's but what i don't know. depending what your after i might beabel to help once i have the VY's / VZ's out the way.

im only gathering info currently can don't really want to be making changes to anyone else cars right now i need new pants everytime i make a change to mine as is..

If it applies to VX's then you can use mine buddy. I've only got 5 days off this month but I can make a plan to pop up and see you when I'm off if that helps.

i have read its VX's as well how accurate this is im not sure. so im going to look at the VY /VZ for now and then look at the vt/vx afterwards.

Not sure what we could do. Other than enable the speedo on the window and reset the odometer which has little use unless replacing the cluster.

I would like to find out about the LCD being altered to show miles not kilometre o. The key. But guess this is a new LCD required.

This is possible a few guys in oz have done it and there is some write up on the net.

It is possible without a new cluster but it does mean rewriting chunks of the eprom and I'm not that good, although I am working on finding out how to do it.
