that's mrCV8's, probably the best over all sounding car today. Just spot on for noise level and quality. Sarah loved it.
I've told him that before. He gave us a fly-by when he joined the convoy to MyM8V8's place last year. also I was the only blue cv8, their must be more out there...
cheers for the comments and yes Stick you were missed would hae been good to catch up.
CV8, that blue is just stunning. First and only blue I rememebr seeing - such a good colour for the car shame they dropped it. There was a really nice member from Scotland years ago (cannot remember his name) he had one too before he sold it for a jag.
Seriously buzzing from such a great day. For us the morning was a bit too long what with the nipper, next time we'd get there about an hour before the convoy. Excellent support from the police, they could have shut it down, policed the route heavily but only noticed the one unmakred car and they saw we were all well behaved.
Had had a bet with a few to see if anyone stacked it as the temptation to hoon was large with the crowd but so well behaved. Great day and weather. Took me back to the old forum days. Roll on Shakespears!

Gutted I missed this one I was so looking forward to seeing Willie, Paul, Moif and everybody else too. Thanks Willie for that dirty thingy you gave to Donk, I have a similar thing that's been stuck to my fridge for three years now
I'm glad the weather was so perfect for you all, let's hope it's the same for the UK tour in May
Firstly a big thanks to all you lot for coming along, we managed to give you a better selection to look at this year, last year the Australian contingent was 34 / 70, this year I believe it was 23 / 82, so it really wouldn't have been the same without you, much quieter especially
My post at the front of the convoy meant a fairly sedate drive, after parking up to allow people to line up, I then proceeded at 10mph for the next half a mile onto a dual carriageway, and according to Alex at the back of the queue, he still hadn't left yet!
The convoy did get broken up as a result, trying to tow ~ 70 cars out of a town is quite tough, so I think we ended up with two fairly large groups. I didn't even get close to a speed limit until we were well on to the A43 in an attempt to keep everyone bunched together, but traffic lights / roundabouts and merging onto dual carriageways meant it just wasn't to be.
We have a plan for next year though to try and keep everyone together, as some of the sites in the mirror were still amazing!
We've got somebody putting together a video of the day, and there's some good footage and photos from our overhead and layby cameramen, we managed to bunch our group up over both lanes as we went past the layby, apparently it was like the start of a NASCAR race
Couple of snaps I took in Holden Alley, I was preoccupied trying to get photos of everything so didn't take many wider shots, but there'll be plenty coming!
